RPG Developer

Job Description

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of relational database concepts and design
  • Proficiency in productivity tools required like Microsoft Office products
  • Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple assignments
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to self-manage their workload to meet all expected delivery dates
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong analysis and design skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve under pressure for short durations.
  • 10 years of programming experience in RPG and CL in an IBM i (AS/400) environment.
  • Systems integration, IBMI I (AS/400) systems and security support, SQL, DB2 database concepts.
  • 5+ years of experience in an IT/QA role within Financial Services Industry preferably Mortgage Servicing is preferred.
  • Experience with LSAMS Servicing System is a plus or COBOL experience.
  • Use of following web development languages is a plus: PHP, HTML, Javascript, AJAX, Zend Framework.


Job Requirement

Required: RPG III/IV/ILE/400/FREE/SQL, CL. Preferred: COBOL 400/ILE, FTP, Secured FTP, and PGP.
